Children's
Liturgy of the Word
Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for children to
experience God's Word at an age-appropriate level while their parents
attend Mass. During the 8:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Masses, children are
dismissed after the opening prayer for Children's Liturgy of the Word
and will return to join their families for the celebration of the
Eucharist. The special liturgy is intended for children grades 1-5.
Registration is not required for this year-round program. We can use
parents' help in continuing to make this program a success! Parents
serve as ministers, a rewarding position that allows them to share the
Word with our children. We also offer opportunities for youth. Please
contact us to find out more about the liturgy and how you can help.

Christian
Initiation for Children
Our faith community offers a wonderful program for families with
non-Catholic children desiring initiation into the Catholic Church. The
program offers sacrament preparation including opportunities for
children to learn about the Christian way of life and our Catholic faith
while preparing for the Rite of Christian Initiation at the Easter
vigil. Families interested in
Christian Initiation for their children can contact the Children/Family
Faith Formation office for information regarding this process. Classes
are held Sunday mornings (October-April) during the 8:45 a.m. Mass. Your
children will enjoy this memorable journey.

Retreat Days for
Children
Retreat Days are an exciting
opportunity for children grades 3-5 to deepen their knowledge of the
Catholic Faith. We will explore topics such as Catholic doctrine, the
Liturgy, sacraments, the saints and Holy Scripture. Retreat Days help to
develop children's faith through a variety of activities such as crafts,
games, videos, workshops and prayer. We invite your children to join us
twice a month on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (dinner
is included). Parents, we'd love
your help! You are welcome to participate in Retreat Days as
facilitators or helpers in other areas such as the kitchen. For
registration information and schedules, contact the Children/Family
