US IN THE SON DAY CAMP
|
PURPOSE: To provide junior high and high school students with a weekend of fun and love as they celebrate their living faith and develop their leadership skills. All those who attend leadership camp will also have the opportunity to Volunteer at our Day Camp.
DATES: June 22 - 24, 2012
CAMP PROGRAM BEGINS: Friday June 22, 10:00 a.m. @ the parish hall
CAMP PROGRAM ENDS: Sunday June 24, 4:00 p.m. @ the parish hall
CAMP FACILITY: Ponderosa Pines Christian Camp (31324 Green Valley Lake Road, Running Springs, CA 92382, www.pondo.org)
CAMP COST: $160 per person
COST INCLUDES: Cabins, Meals, Camp T-shirts, Program Materials, Transportation, Insurance, and the benefits of a professionally trained counseling staff.
REGISTRATION: Normal day camp registration after all masses: May 19-20, June 2 - 3
STAFF: US IN THE SON Staff (plus additional members from the community)

Campfires Stories Leadership Development
Games Prayer Services Swimming
Nature Walks Large/Small Group Discussions Singing, Skits & More!
WHAT TO BRING:
Sleeping Bag Pillow Sack Lunch (for Friday)
Toiletries Tennis Shoes/Hiking Boots Flashlight
Summer Clothes Swimsuit/Towel/Sunscreen Light Jacket/Sweatshirt
Jeans/Pants Snack To Share (optional) Open Mind & Open Heart
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
iPods, Cell Phones, Watches, Money, Illegal Substances or Anything Valuable! Please do not bring anything that might be considered inappropriate for a Christian camp.
