Weekly attendance of Sunday mass & Holy Days of obligation
All candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation must attend weekly Sunday Liturgy and Holy Days of Obligation! This is the most obvious display of the candidate’s love and desire to be fully initiated into the Catholic Faith. |

Confirming Disciples yr 2: TOPICS, days , & TIME
All candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation must attend all sessions. Candidates are allowed to make up only one absence. After two absences, the candidate will be interviewed by the Pastor and/or Youth Director, three or more absences and the candidate must repeat their first year of Confirming Disciples |

Note: The Confirmation Mass will be celebrated during the month of April, May, or June. As soon as the date is announced the Confirmation rehearsal will be scheduled. Both the Candidate and Sponsor must attend the rehearsal and the Rite of Confirmation Mass.

10 Hours of Service
Candidates must complete a minimum of 10 hours of service per year of Confirming Disciples– 5 Hours of Parish Service and 5 hours of Christian community service. All projects must have a written reflection of their experience to receive credit. Service Hour Reflection forms will be provided. Participating in The 30 Hour Famine on February 5-6 will fulfill the entire 10 hours of service. |

Youth Ministry Nights
Candidates must attend a minimum of 3 youth group meetings. Our youth group meets on Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm in the Youth Room after Mass at 5:30PM. |

Generations of Faith
Candidates must attend 3 of the 4 Generations of Faith Festivals. The festivals are offered in October, December, January, and March on specific Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. |

Bishop Letter
Each Candidate must complete a Letter to the Bishop by March 22, 2011. Guidelines to follow. |
